Wordy Wednesday
I am sorry I am slacking in the posting. But my typist are busy trying to plan there Ireland trip and figure out where they are staying etc…. The excuses they have. I got my Wonderful gifts for the Squillions contest

And Mommy got a new camera SO she took more pictures to test the new camera. Mommy is a bit ” snap happy” as daddy calls her and her old camera used Lithium Ion batterys, and she had 6. Now that they are cutting back on how many batteries you can bring on a plane he got my mommy a camera that can use AA and rechargable cause you can bring however many regular batterys. Also my mommy is complaining about only having a 4gb memory card. Humans huh..
Well on to the excitement! Sunday night, as mommy was going to be at 11 pm. There was this awful noise. Mommy jumped up and ran to the kitchen. ( I didn’t know she could run that fast) then she looked outside. Daddy was like what’s that. I was like I am hiding it is loud. Mom is like the fire alarm is going of fin the building, get dressed, grab the computers I’ll get pixel. Well, I knew the safest place was under the bed right in the middle and I wasn’t budging. Mom was trying though, she gave up for a moment and went into the hall, all the neighbors were there and there was no smoke but we were not sure if it was a false alarm. We are on the third floor. Well the screeching is still going on. Next thing I know I am getting pulled by my TAIL from under the safe bed and stuffed into the PTU. My mommy grabbed my tail. Mom grabbed me a toy and a my harness in case we had to be out for a while. We were about to leave. Mommy with her purse her laptop bag and me and dad with his computers the cameras and the passports. Just in case….
I was furry scared. Mommy tried to comfort me after, Mommy and daddy had a head ache, My head hurt too, I slept quietly that night. Mommy told me that I should go to her when there is scary things but hiding made sense If I couldn’t see it then it couldn’t see me :) When she put me in the PTU she took my gizzy quilt and covered it so It would muffle the sound somewhat…. It was very scary, but from what we have heard it was a false alarm. They think someone may have pulled it…

Wowie, Pixel! That sounds very, very scairty! The first thing I would do is hide right under the bed, too. I’m glad you are safe.

Oh gosh, did someone do it to be funny? Dad does dat fur us to haf “fire drills” and it makes us crazy…but, better safe den sorry.
We are sorry you were scared, but very thankful that it wasn’t real. We read a story one time of a cat who only got her treats in her PTU so that if there was ever an emergency and the owner shook the treat jar, the cat would run to the PTU and get in it. I guess it worked. We love going in our PTU, so mom doesn’t think it would be a problem for us.

How scairy! We always run for under the middle of the bed too when fire alarms go off here. Our typist went to Ireland last June for 10 days and locked the computer up and took the key wif her! Your typist will luvs Ireland and not want to come back!

Pixel there were false alrms were we used to lived alot of pepole did not leave untill the poilce and fire men came banging on there door. If they did not respond they broke down the door. then they had a cheek list of pepole and if they could not locate them and emencey numbers they went back and cheeked again. your mama did the right thing. My maama said to tell you mama to put the passports and importent stuff in a fire safe box. You can get them at home depo and place they wouth the investment
